Terms of Use

1. Agreement & Acceptance

By accessing or using Convya, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental or guardian consent to use Convya.

2. Service Description

Convya is an AI-powered website builder for weddings and events, operated by Gotchaalab, a company registered in Malaysia.

Users answer guided questions and AI generates a tailored, mobile-first website. The service uses a per-project package pricing model.

3. Account & Authentication

Accounts are created via Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must not share your credentials or allow unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Access & Service Availability

Convya is currently invite-only and offered to partner agencies under separate commercial agreements. Service quotas, hosting duration, and feature access are governed by your agreement with us.

5. AI-Generated Content

You own the websites and content that AI generates for you on Convya.

Convya retains a limited, non-exclusive license to use anonymized or screenshot versions of your content for marketing, product improvement, and showcase purposes. You may request removal of your content from any public showcase by contacting us.

AI-generated output is not guaranteed to be unique, error-free, or suitable for any specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing your content before publishing.

6. RSVP & Guest Data

If you enable RSVP features, you become the data controller for personal data collected from your guests (names, contact details, dietary preferences, etc.).

You are responsible for informing your guests about what data is being collected and how it will be used.

Convya processes and stores guest data on your behalf and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the RSVP service to you.

Guest data is deleted when you delete your project.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use Convya to:

• Create content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse any part of the service.
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

The Convya platform, brand, design, and underlying code are the property of Gotchaalab.

Your content (text, images, and AI-generated sites) belongs to you, subject to the limited license described in Section 5.

You must not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Convya platform without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Convya is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free AI output, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gotchaalab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Convya in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your projects and data will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of Convya after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
